The Britton Brothers feature Marc and Flip Britton, along with their friend and bass player John Knobler.
Marc and Flip began their musical career with a full-time band, Syn, in the 1970s and 80s. At the same time, John formed a band called Egdon Heath. These days, Marc and Flip perform as a trio with John, or as a duo.

Marc plays guitar and soprano sax, with a bit of recorder as an aside. Flip is a true multi-instrumentalist, playing mandolin, ukulele, flute, guitar, harmonica, saxophone and penny whistle. John sets the groove with his ever-present headless bass.
